2017 is the 30th anniversary of a teenage David Droga, founder and creative chairman of renowned agency Droga5, winning Top Student at AWARD School in 1987. To mark the occasion, this year’s AWARD School top student - selected from the winners of all the Schools in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane - will win an amazing opportunity to meet David Droga himself in New York.

ABBREVIATED TERMS & CONDITIONS
Starts 3/4/17 & ends 13/7/17. Divided into 5 Promotional Stages (1 per State). Entry only open to 2017 AWARD School Students who: a. participate in Course in their applicable State in the manner required; b. submit their final portfolio by the due date; & c. are able to travel to & remain in New York for 7 nights during period to be determined by Promoter. To enter: a. participate in Course in applicable State in the manner required including but not limited to attending lectures, tutorials and submitting final portfolio by the published due date below. Each State will have its own judging by the date set out in table below at ‘State Winners Announced’. The Students judged as the winners from each State will be eligible to have their portfolio judged by an international panel of leading Executive Creative Directors by 7/8/17. The winning Students from VIC, SA, QLD & WA will be flown to Sydney for 1 night for the 2017 AWARD School announcement of the Top Student on 7/8/17 in Sydney. Prize: 1 x travel prize to New York for 7 nights during period determined by The Communications Council to meet David Droga of Droga5 at the discretion of David Droga valued at AUD$8,000. Includes 1 x return economy airfare to New York, 7 nights’ accommodation, return airport transfers & AUD$100 per day for spending money for food/transport. Top Student responsible for all additional costs not expressly stated. Top Student solely responsible for ensuring entry into New York at own expense incl. ensuring necessary passport & visas, travel authorisations incl. an ESTA & travel & medical insurance (incl. providing certificate of currency to Promoter’s satisfaction at its sole discretion) prior to travel & if required on or by date nominated by Promoter. Total max prize value: AUD$10,000. Top Student is representing AWARD and must conduct themselves in responsible, courteous & friendly manner at all times.
